Silsden Storm U9s – Festival Report (Leg 3)
The third leg of the mini festival brought the action to home soil this weekend, as Silsden Storm welcomed Keighley Albion and Queensbury to Silsden Park. With the sun beating down, conditions were tough, but that didn’t stop the Storm from putting in a determined and spirited performance.
Across all games, both Silsden sides showed real grit and character. Despite the heat and some knocks picked up along the way, the players never backed down, continuing to compete hard in every match. There were moments where the team were tested, but each time they responded together, showing great resilience and teamwork.
Unfortunately, a few injuries meant the players had to dig even deeper, but the effort and attitude on display summed up exactly what this group is about. Supporting each other, working hard, and never giving in.
Another valuable round of games with plenty of positives to take forward into the next leg. The Storm spirit was well and truly on show.
