Silsden Storm U10 vs North Leeds Leopards

May 2, 2026

Storm Stand Tall and Shine Against the Leopards

Storm Under 10s welcomed North Leeds Leopards to Silsden Park this morning and despite being low on numbers due to a union fixture being moved to Saturday, you’d never have known it. The boys in blue and green turned up with intent, energy, and a defensive hunger that set the tone from the very first minute.

Storm’s defensive line was relentless. From edge to edge, they worked for each other, shut down space, and forced errors through sheer desire. It was the kind of defensive effort that defines this group, committed, and full of pride.

In attack, this was without doubt their best performance of the year. Storm moved the ball with real width, shifting from touchline to touchline and creating space through smart hands and confident decision‑making. The tries came from everywhere: sweeping moves, support play, and moments of individual spark. Some of the rugby played was genuinely impressive for an Under 10s side, fast, fluid, and fearless.

Overall, it was another strong outing that builds momentum perfectly ahead of Butlins next week, where the 10s reunite with the Stormettes for the Rhinos Challenge. Confidence is high, the performances are growing, and the they look ready.
