The Silsden Stormettes U11s took to the pitch for their first-ever match this weekend, facing a strong Drighlington U11s Girls side in what was a memorable occasion for everyone involved.
Despite the nerves that naturally come with a debut fixture, the Stormettes showed tremendous strength, determination and resilience from the first whistle to the last. Every player gave their all, working hard for each other and demonstrating the team spirit that has been developing throughout training.
Drighlington provided tough opposition, but the Stormettes never backed down. Their commitment, enthusiasm and willingness to learn were clear to see throughout the match.
This first match marks the beginning of an exciting journey for the Silsden Stormettes U11s. The future is bright, and the team can take great confidence from their performance as they continue to grow, develop and enjoy playing together.
