A huge congratulations to our Minis coach, Jem, who has been named vice captain of the Cougars Women’s Team.
This is a fantastic achievement and one the whole Silsden Storm family is incredibly proud of. Jem is a brilliant example of what can happen when you back yourself, get involved and keep showing up.
Having only put her boots on two years ago, Jem’s journey is a reminder that rugby league really is a sport for everyone. It does not matter your age, your experience, or how long you have been playing. With commitment, confidence and the right attitude, amazing things can happen.
Jem brings so much energy and encouragement to our Minis sessions, helping our youngest players build their confidence and enjoy the game from the very start. To now see her stepping into a leadership role within the Cougars Women’s Team is inspiring, not just for our players, but for everyone around the club.
Well done, Jem. We are all so proud of you. Green and blue through and through.
