With temperatures rising, Silsden Storm Under 9s escaped the heat this week by taking their training indoors at the fantastic Keighley Cougars purpose-built training centre.
The session gave the players a brilliant opportunity to experience a professional training environment, while continuing to build their confidence, fitness and rugby league skills.
Under the watchful eye and guidance of Jonny Storton, the team were put through their paces with a varied session that included fitness drills, sledge pushing and tackling practice. The players worked hard throughout, showing great effort, focus and determination as they took on each challenge.
Training in a different environment was a great experience for the squad and gave them the chance to keep developing away from the usual pitch setting. Sessions like this are invaluable for young players, helping them learn new skills, improve technique and grow together as a team.
A huge thank you goes to Keighley Cougars and Jonny for welcoming the team and delivering such a fantastic session for the players.
Well done to all the Under 9s. Keep pushing, Storm. 💙💚
