Silsden Storm Under-11s put in a determined and spirited performance this weekend, showing great teamwork and resilience against a well-organised opposition.
In the first half Storm looked eager to take the game forward, with Alfie, Finn, Adam and Archie leading the charge. They made a series of strong, direct runs against a tough defence, consistently gaining valuable ground for their team. playing with physicality and determination that set the tone early on and helped Silsden maintain momentum throughout the match.
Dexter was a key attacking threat, repeatedly causing problems for the opposition with his clever movement and ability to find space. His persistence kept the defence under pressure and created opportunities for his teammates to exploit.
Lucan and Eddie impressed with their fast footwork, weaving past defenders and bringing excitement to the attack. Their agility and quick changes of direction made him difficult to contain and added an extra edge to Silsden’s offensive play.
Overall Storm showed resilience and were full of effort, and determination. The players should be proud of how they competed, and there are plenty of positives to take into the next match.
