Saturday 21st February was one of those evenings that reminds you why community sport matters so much.
Our Silsden Storm family came together for the club’s official Launch Night, and honestly… it was something special.
From the moment people walked in, there was a real buzz in the room. Laughter, catch-ups, excited kids in team hoodies, proud parents, volunteers juggling ten things at once. You know the feeling. Busy, noisy, joyful. Proper club spirit.
One of the highlights of the night was, of course, the launch of our brand-new kit.
Players from across all squads took to the stage to model the new look, and they did it with confidence, smiles, and more than a few cheeky poses along the way. It was brilliant to see every age group represented, showing just how strong and connected our club is from minis right through.
There were plenty of surprises too. Little moments that made people laugh, moments that made people stop and think, “Yeah… this is why we do this.” It wasn’t just about kit or photos or presentations. It was about celebrating what we’ve built together.
And that celebration was well deserved.
Over the past year, Silsden Storm has continued to grow, develop, and support young players both on and off the pitch. That doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because of dedicated coaches, volunteers, families, committee members, and a community that genuinely cares.

Launch Night was a reminder of how far we’ve come.
But maybe more importantly, it showed how exciting the future looks.

Full of young players dreaming big.
